Divine Affirmations to Lift Your Spirits, Even if the World Seems to be Pulling You Down

I'm noticing negative energy running rampant on the boards today, maybe because we're nearing the end of a long week, or perhaps some coffee shortage epidemic sweeping the nation that I'm unaware of. -_^
Either way, I felt compelled to write a "pick-me-up" post. While you can if you so choose, you don't need to do anything fancy or complicated to use these. It' can be as simple as sitting in your chair, raising power and releasing the negative energy through your words in chant back into the universe to be reused.
Make it a daily practice if you can. Daily affirmations have done wonders for my positivity and overall mood, I highly recommend them.

When I can, I like to burn my favorite incense and beat my drum-on-a-stick in rhythm. Building and releasing in that way feels spiritually orgasmic, I don't care if my husband has to put on headphones upstairs to drown me out LOL

Anywho- On with the meat of the post! (the first two are from a book, the last 2 I wrote myself.)

Personal Empowerment
Repeat the following at least 9 times. With each line you repeat, imagine your body becoming more relaxed. Key in on the words"peace" and "tranquility", going into a state of calmness from which you can move forward in a positive way.

"I am a goddess of peace
On a throne of tranquility"

When your spirit needs a boost, recite this affirmation several times-
"I am a reflection of the Goddess
An aspect of the Divine
I am She as She is me
And together we are One"

When your feeling frazzled, worn out, when youve come a long way on your path-
"O great God of the Sun
Under the rays of your light we are one
You guide me on sacred journeys
Your brilliant power restores me"

An affirmation for when you're feeling down on yourself-
"I am a manifestation of the divine
A child of mother earth and father sky
I am exactly as I am meant to be
The power comes from within me."

And I'd like to finish with the very first chat I ever learned-I was 11 years old- to banish negativity:
"Take the old and burn it
Burn it let it go
Fire starts within our hearts
And gives us room to grow"

Blessed Be.

  1. Ty for this! There is seriously SO much negativity going on. It's sad and horrible, but of course some people thrive off trying to bring other's down or just being plain d-bags. I love these chants! Especially: "I am a reflection of the Goddess..." And the second to last one! It's amazing that you still have your chants from being 11!

    Beautiful blog btw!

    Blessed be! XOXO
