Dark, negative, even "evil" forces and Beings.

This post is direction towards specifically wiccans, but anyone else can add their own input. Do you believe in evil Beings? Negative powers? Demons, even (not necessarily the type of demons depicted by religions such as Christianity)?
A lot of books I have read have neglected to talk about this.

I've seen spells and chants for protection,  learning to cast a circle is one of the first things we learn, recipes for purification, cleansing, and exorcism abound, but nobody seems to acknowledge demons.
One book I read touch it lightly on darker forces but added "if they even exist".

Personally, I know they exist. I've had far too many experiences in my life with them. If you look back on my earlier posts to the heavy cleansing rituals you'll see I mention a demon in my house.
I should clarify that actually. If it was the actual demon himself (I cant say who, but his name starts with an 'A') the paint would be peeling, the house would be shaking, and our heads would have exploded by now. No, its more like his shadow, if you can make sense of that.

Anyways, that and my other experiences have proved to me, although I know I can't force my beliefs on others and have no intent of doing so. Go with what feels right to you.

But I'm curious, on your path, how do negative energies fit in? What do you think of them as? Have you had any experiences of your own?
