Yes, I realize I'm skipping part five but I really wanted to cover this topic quickly and simply before a more in-depth longer post. In fact, I feel as though I should've covered this first. Nonetheless, onward through the fog!
Some may think choosing an herb blend is as simple as looking up its properties, finding a few that match, blend it together, (some like to charge it) and tada! I feel differently. Different sources say different things about each herb. Aside from properties matching, what about it being an herb of yin or yang? It's corresponding elements? What about its intention? Who is it for? Someone of darker practices may want to use shadow herbs, or you may want to use them in blending for that person. Making it for you? Where do you stand in the balance of light or dark? What is your elements of power?
Taking all this into consideration will make your blend much more powerful. When I make a blend, I cross reference everything. I consult multiple sites and books, and understand it to be of the properties that overlap the most. You can also charge an herb with your intent, but charging, infusing, an empowering will be saved for a future post. Feel free to throw out any questions on that though.
So here is my list of herbs best used in, say, an incense, to help the abilities of your 3rd eye.
