Intro...

Welcome!
So you know who you're getting you're information from, my name is Lupa and I've been studying Wicca and witchcraft on and off for just over 10 years. I've been in full-blown "on" mode for about a year now. I've been solitary most the time, although last spring started attending a monthly Outer Court training to hopefully be initiated into a Coven. Due to transportation issues as of late, my Priest has agreed to give me personal 1-on-1 training (on sort of a "fast track" since I'm not exactly inexperienced) until I can start attending regularly again.

I've dedicated myself mostly to the Roman/Greek Gods and Goddesses, my Matron Deity being Diana (or Artemis if you're going the Greek route) and my Patron God is Apollo. They introduced themselves to me in a very surreal experience, and I haven't ventured too far outside them but for a few specific rites.

However, I've been researching the ancient Gods and Goddesses pretty obsessively lately, and I've come to decide I'd like to introduce myself to- and start working with- the ancient Sumerian Deities (although the Sumerians did not refer to them as "gods", it's very fascinating). I'll make a post of the information I've compiled so far for my BOS next (sources not cited this time because I wasn't planning on blogging them when I took the information down, but all new information [not already compiled, source-less, into my archive] I acquire I will cite references), and share everything I've found out so far.

If something seems amiss (or you know the source to credit!), do feel free to let me know! I have found much conflicting information, and any well-read witch knows it can be quite confuddling to sort fact from fiction amongst all the texts we have available nowadays!
